Sweet Root Village is a wedding and event floral design company located in Alexandria, Virginia specializing in installation heavy design work. Established in 2010 by Lauren and Rachel, their business has always been people focused as they’ve grown to support eight wonderful full time employees producing 80-100 events each year.

Teaching Style
Lauren and Rachel have always loved sharing openly about all things floral business related. They’re educational offerings span a variety of learning styles including visual, social, solitary, verbal, and logical styles. You’ll find they prefer to interact casually over vast topics versus one-sided speaking with a fancy presentation.

Design Aesthetic
Sweet Root loves that flowers can span many design aesthetics and that those change with the seasons, locations, clients, and with the general passing of time. They prefer to have the opportunity to try new things and offer their team room to bloom in many styles, colors, and compositions. So their preferred design aesthetic is probably, FLUID.
